WEEK 2 (FYP 2)

SOFTWARE LINUX For this week, I do some research about software LINUX, their process also type of LINUX. That because I want to create coding for my CCTV which the software uses are LINUX. After I do research, i'm trying to download the software which the type is UBUNTU LINUX. This week also, I meet with my second supervisor which is Prof Zul to get opinion from him. JOURNAL 3 THE ELECTRIC GATE MOTOR The backbone of any electric gate, whether automatic or not, is the electric gate motor, two distinct motor types exist hydraulic, or electromechanical. This is the electric device which actually enables the electric gate to open and close without having to manually push the gate. All types of electric gates and barriers make use of a motor of some kind. There are many different kinds of electric gate motors offered by a number of automation companies most located in Malaysia .

JOURNAL 2 DOCCEPT FOR CCTV CCTVs are used to monitor and record images of what takes place in specific locations in real time. The recorded information can be stored and reviewed by those who have access to the recordings at their convenience. CCTVs are predominantly offense prevention tools that also provide surveillance function to any organization. CCTV systems require robust platforms to manage the surveillance environment. It can be significantly damaging and expensive for any Organization if CCTV backups are unavailable in times of crises where this evidence is crucial. In Most CCTV environments, management is a people driven process and subject to the common errors of forgetfulness and inadequate training, resulting in failures that are detected only when it is too late.

The first week of my FYP 2 is now begins. So now i need to continue the progress of my project from FYP 1 that have been left before from last Semester. Objectives : To introduce the FYP 2. To continue the progress from FYP 1. Conclusion : The project for "TO DEVELOPMENT AUTOGATE SYSTEM USING SMARTPHONE APPLICATION FOR RESIDENCY" is now officially start.
