SURVEYING TITLE FOR MY PROJECT

After the meeting with Sir SAM, I made some basic research about the tittle and I felt that with enough research and knowledge, I will complete this project. Sir SAM would be a great supervisor based on his wide knowledge and experience about electronic engineering.

I read through the list of the title and each synopsis of the project so that I can understand the requirement and some criteria that needed to complete the project. After done with this, I like some interesting with this project.

Here is my title and problem statement of the project:

TITLE PROJECT:

To develop Auto-gate using smartphone for residency application.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM THE USER IS FACING ?

The remote control sometime not function or detect auto-gate.

SOLUTION:

Change remote control to application smartphone so the user can open and close the autogate using smartphone.

WHAT THE USER NEED ?

• Simple
• not easily damaged
• can detect at long distance
• low cost

SOLUTION:

When use this application, the user not worry about the damaged because it use smartphone, fast detect and also low cost.

WHAT THE USER WANTS ?

• The auto-gate open and close smoothly without waiting at a long time.
• have security
• more function in certain conditions

SOLUTION:

When use this application, the gate will function smoothly at certain condition. Beside that, put the CCTV for security and also easily for user. This for safe and convenient way verifying the identity of visitors without having to walk out to the gate itself.
