WEEK 17 (FYP 1)

SUBMISSION OF THE PROPOSAL

Basically nothing much in this week. The Project Proposal was submitted to Sir Syamsul Adlan. After the submission, I continued on how to develop my system. From all the research I’ve made, I was trying to create the system. This log book will be continued on the next semester and it will be about my developing of the system.

The conclusion that I can made throughout the process of FYP 1 :

Referring to the previous chapter, the objectives of this project must be completed in order to make it success. One of the objectives is to develop a prototype of autogate using smartphone application. This can be considered as a low cost embedded system. Others objective is to provide camera by detecting any other outsider come to house. This is important part of the project. Since, this project focusing on safety of the user on home. So it will prevent any criminal case such as burglary, rapist and others. In order to achieve the objectives, to develop a project that is comply with market demand and also to control the autogate by any android or iOS device capable of internet access. In this semester, the project will focus on research and study on how to develop the system.

The system will basically focusing on personal usage (home) instead of commercial usage (the normal autogate system that is use at the home). This system will be a combination of hardware (NodeMcu, Servo Motor and Two Channel Relay Module), software ( the system) and Android also iOS application. This system will benefit the users by helping in inventory and money management. The developing of system prototype will be carried out in the next semester by following the methods that have been research throughout this semester.
